Explore Pilates is a studio in the heart of Wimbledon offering a wide variety of personalised Pilates classes with small groups or tailored private sessions for maximum benefit.
Our exceptional instructors follow the STOTT PILATES® methodology, which takes a contemporary approach to Pilates. Enjoy an energising, toning and fun Pilates workout using state-of-the-art reformer equipment. Mat and Tower Pilates is also available.

OUR PILATES CLASSES

Classes are suitable for people of all ages and abilities, including beginners, using the V2 Max Plus™ Reformer to help build muscle strength, tone, improve flexibility and posture.
Our Pilates classes are capped at four, for personalised attention from your instructor. This ensures that we can correct technique and suggest modifications where necessary so that you gain maximum effectiveness in the safest possible way.

STOTT PILATES® guides you through a journey of movement, form and strength. It is based on five basic biomechanical principles and a strong rehabilitation programme to help you reach your goals and rebalance your muscular systems.

Five basic principles of STOTT PILATES®

Reformer Pilates using the STOTT method holds the key to achieving balance between mind and body, with small classes of no more than four.
It is more than just a work out: it is about improving health and wellbeing. The reformer equipment and movements use resistance from different directions to restore the natural curves of the spine, target and rebalance muscle, and help regain lost movement.

The V2 Max Plus™ Reformer offers Pilates-based sport-specific, rehab and cross-training movements for limitless exercise possibilities. It combines a reformer, tower and mat system into one apparatus for complete versatility and a total workout integrating Cadillac, reformer and mat repertoires.

The Ladder Barrel challenges core stability and strength. Ideal for stretching and improving mobility.

The Split-Pedal Chair helps achieve upper- and lower-body strength and conditioning, and improve stability and body control.

Equipment to challenge an area or work on an isolated muscle will also be used, such as resistance bands, toning balls, rollers and arc barrels.

Studio Rates and Packages

If you are new to our Stott Pilates equipment, we would recommend that you take advantage of our "Intro Offer" private session. Alternatively, you can begin an enjoyable journey with equipment by joining our Reformer Foundation class or our Mat and Tower class, so that we can introduce you to our method and teach you how to safely and effectively work out on our unique equipment. No experience needed for Mat and Stretch classes.
